On Thursday, October 2, youth groups in several Moroccan cities participated in the “Generation Z” protests for the sixth consecutive day.
In cities such as Rabat, Casablanca, Meknes, and Tetouan, the slogans and chants were similar. Protesters reiterated their demands for reforms in the healthcare and education sectors, called for the fight against corruption in state institutions, and emphasized the need for freedom, dignity, and social justice for all Moroccan citizens.
In Tangier, dozens gathered in a public square near the “Riyad Tetouan” intersection, organizing a demonstration that lasted for some time before they decided to conclude their gathering and requested all participants to leave.
