The Moroccan Ministry of Interior announced an increase in the death toll from the attack on the Royal Gendarmerie center in Qliâa, bringing it to three individuals.
On Thursday, October 2, the ministry stated that incidents of violence and riots in various regions have sadly escalated, with rioters engaging in attacks using bladed weapons and storming state-owned buildings and security facilities. This occurred in Qliâa, located in the Inzegane Ait Melloul region, where a group attempted to seize ammunition and operational weapons made available to these services. In response, the Royal Gendarmerie personnel were compelled to use their service weapons in legitimate self-defense, resulting in three fatalities.
