The Director General of National Security and the Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, has decided to grant an exceptional promotion to a police officer, ranked as a security guard, who died from injuries sustained in a traffic accident while performing his duties with the Mobile Intervention Police in the Kenitra Security Directorate.
In a commemorative gesture reflecting loyalty and appreciation, the deceased has been promoted to the rank of “Police Chief.” Hammouchi has instructed the central human resources department to record this promotion in the deceased’s employment record, which entitles his family to related administrative and social rights.
The Director General also ordered condolences to be extended to the family of the deceased and to provide all necessary support during this painful time, underscoring the special care the General Directorate of National Security gives to its employees and their families, particularly those who have sacrificed their lives in the service of national security.
